J. Brandon Davis is deeply honored to serve the residents of Chester as Township Trustee.
Brandon’s roots began in rural NW Ohio. Since then, he has had the distinct opportunity to see and be part of communities around the country and world. He and his wife, Katie, chose Chester as the place to call home and grow their family for countless reasons, primary of those being its semi-rural/countryside living feel, the great school system, and the well-performing town services (i.e. roads, police and fire). As Trustee, Brandon wants to ensure the things that made his family decide to make Chester home continue, as well as work to enhance them and help lead the town into the future so it remains an idyllic community where someday his children may want to remain and raise families of their own.
Brandon has spent most of his career in capital projects (engineering & construction), starting as a laborer on construction sites and then working through various roles in field trailers and offices, eventually into management and ownership. He has built a career being part of teams that deliver challenging projects, and in management/ownership roles with teams that often involved re-energizing and/or enhancing performance of businesses that deliver capital projects. Today, he owns and/or partly owns various businesses, and in some of those businesses functions as the chief executive and/or chief operator of the business.
In addition to his business career, Brandon served as Ohio Oil & Gas Commissioner for nearly a decade, first appointed by Governor John Kasich and re-appointed by Governor Mike DeWine and has served on boards and/or committee leadership for several regional and national non-profit organizations.
In his free time, Brandon enjoys spending time with his five (5) children and wife, Katie, at their family’s cottage on Lake Erie, boating, helping with community projects, and watching his kids’ sporting events.

Patricia through the years has volunteered for many organizations including Chardon Chamber of Commerce and Chardon Square Association serving as President, Secretary Treasurer, Chairing Halloween for 8 years, and Co-Chairing Christmas for 5 years.
After 20 years of owning her own CPA practice, Patricia decided to semi – retire in 2014 and spend her winters in Arizona with her husband Michael. After wintering in Arizona for a number of years, Patricia and Michael missed the family and now stay home in Ohio for the winter.
Patricia and Michael chose to reside in Chester Township in 2011 loving the rural, small town atmosphere. In November 2019 Patricia was elected as Fiscal Officer for Chester Township and started her term in February 2020.
