Located at the corner of S.R.306 and S.R.322, offers a gazebo, a baseball field, three volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, two pavilions, a newly expanded children's playground, and rest room facilities. The amenities are available on a first come first served basis, although they can be reserved through completing the Application for Use Form and submitting it for approval to the Board of Trustees.
The Park hours of operation are daily from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
The Park baseball field and volleyball courts are lighted for evening use. The light switches for these areas are located as follows:
- Baseball Field - pole at rest rooms
- Volleyball Courts - pole at electric box
- Horseshoe Pits - pole at each pit
The last group using the Park facilities at night is
responsible for turning off the lights. A $25.00
fine may be imposed when the lights are left on.
PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS
Park Rules and Regulations are printed on the reverse side of the Application for Use Form or they can be viewed online by clicking the link above.
Disorderly conduct and disturbing or annoying others in the Park is prohibited. Before leaving the Park make sure that all of your litter is placed in the receptacles provided throughout the Park. No alcoholic beverages or glass bottles are allowed in the park. The Rules and Regulations must be observed without exception.
APPLICATIONS FOR USE
Applications to reserve any of the Park facilities can be obtained at Chester Town Hall, located at 12701 Chillicothe Road or by clicking the link above. Completed applications should be returned to the Chester Town Hall.
Applications are approved at the Board of Trustees meetings. A check covering the amount of deposit must be attached to the application when submitted. Make your check payable to CHESTER TOWNSHIP. Your approved application will be mailed via US Postal Service, or if specified on the application will be available for pickup at the Chester Township Hall. Your deposit check will be cashed. If a refund is applicable, a Township check in the amount to be refunded will be mailed after the date the Park is used.
